{thanks}GIVING 2022
For years, Chappell Central, Inc. (CCI) participated in the “Feel the Love” campaign, which partnered with Lennox for equipment donations to those in need. Over the years, Chappell Central has gifted materials and labor for those 20+ professional installations. This is our second year partnering with Minnesota Air and Carrier, which has allowed us to co-donate to the NLS-Ag Carpentry Program and gifting last year’s two furnace installations for those families in need.
Based on the numerous causes Chappell Central supports each year, we wanted to brand our own giving program and thus, CCI Cares was born. Initially, the sole purpose of the CCI Cares Program was to gift back to the communities we serve without limitation. It has expanded in the past year to include all of the gifting that is of importance to us, which reaches far beyond our customer base and the communities we do business in.
There are many people who have needs that cannot be met by the local agencies because they simply don’t qualify. While we have typically chosen families via nomination, the CCI Cares Program gives us the opportunity to gift those we find have a need, either through our Customer base or mutual family, friends and community members. For this year’s {thanks}GIVING 2022 Chappell Central is privileged to have partnered with Minnesota Air, Carrier and Baker Electric for the installation of a dual-head ductless heat pump system for the Okuly Family. The installation is set to take place on November 18th with the gift of time and talent from volunteer Chappell Central and Baker Electric employees.
Read about the 2021 Chappel Central Cares ProgramOne of the greatest challenges we have had here at Chappell Central is the “local business” label. We are hoping that people will come to understand in our gifting and giving that we ARE a local provider. While our home office is located in Willmar, we have many employees who live, volunteer and educate their families in surrounding communities. We give a magnitude of support from monetary gifts, to volunteer time and networking with Agencies and businesses who help those in need. For years Chappell Central has reached beyond our customer base through sponsorship of organizations such as the New London to New Brighton Antique Car Run, New London WaterDays, multiple school proms, Thanksgiving meals for kids, and the CentraCare Foundation. Additionally, we support the Prairie Pothole Conservation Organization, Ducks Unlimited, the X Out ALD; Leukodystrophy Center at the U of M and many more. This year Chappell Central is a Presenting Sponsor for the CentraCare Foundation, where the contribution will be used to provide future state-of-the-art radiation treatments similar to those available at the U of M and Rochester Mayo. Our commitment to giving back through CCI Cares is reaching far beyond our customers to those “friends” we have not yet met and may never meet, but it’s a mission that is important to us. It’s how Chappell Central is making a difference for the locals AND BEYOND.
The foundation of the CCI Cares Program is rooted in the investment that our customers make in us here at Chappell Central every day and the generous hearts of the Owners: Matt Kelly, Ross Pederson, Joe Meyer and Paul Krueger. Without them, this gifting would not be possible. We are grateful for the example of gifting and giving! This Holiday season, we hope everyone will join us in making the life of someone in need a bit less burdened and more blessed.
